How we select

A screen is chosen by viewing distance.

Pixel pitch depends on how far away people will view the screen: the closer the viewer, the smaller the pitch. Rule of thumb: the minimum viewing distance in metres roughly equals the pixel pitch in millimetres. Façades and outdoor sites need high-brightness, moisture-protected modules; halls need a fine pitch and a uniform image.

We supply screens complete with modules, controllers, power supplies and cabinets; scrolling text displays are built to the text and the size of the sign.

Questions and answers

Which pixel pitch should I choose?
The rule of thumb is about a metre of comfortable viewing distance per millimetre of pitch: P10 for façades and roads from 10 m, P5 for shop windows and sales floors, P2.5 for indoor close-up viewing. P10 is enough for an outdoor scrolling display; outdoors, take Outdoor modules rated IP65.
Can you build a screen of a non-standard size?
Yes. Send the width and height, indoor or outdoor, the viewing distance and how it will be controlled — we assemble the modules, cabinet or cabinets, power supplies, ribbon cables and controller to specification. Standard 320×160 mm modules make up any area that is a multiple of them.
Which controller do I need, and does it need the internet?
For a scrolling display — asynchronous Huidu controllers of the U (USB stick), W (Wi-Fi) or E (Ethernet) series; for full-colour screens — HD-C, HD-A with HDMI, or a synchronous pair of an HD-T901 sending card and HD-R receiving cards. A permanent internet connection is not required: an asynchronous controller stores the content itself.
How do you deliver screens and cabinets?
Modules, controllers and small components ship by Nova Poshta within 1–2 working days. Cabinets from 1280 mm and ready-made screens are bulky freight: freight terminal or delivery to site, with cost and timing in the quotation. For advertising agencies and regular customers — an invoice and regular supplies.
